Students blogging about BBC life

Three Baptist Bible College students are now blogging about campus life, sharing their thoughts on classes, campus-wide activities, and various ministries they are involved in.

The new student blog is online at www.bbc.edu/blog.

The three writers -- Jamie Knowles, Dan Nichols, and Sam Mader -- will post several entries each week. Visitors to the blog can post comments and dialogue with the writers.

Blogs, short for web logs, are websites providing a flow of regular commentary and entries. They often contain links and images in addition to text.

The student blog is designed to give college students, parents, and prospective students a look into college life at BBC and enable them to engage writers on the topic of the day.

Student writers include:

- Jamie Knowles, a first semester senior studying history in the Specialized Ministries program. She enjoys life on campus and plans for another year and a half at BBC.

- Dan Nichols, a Pastoral ministries major, served as student body president in 2008-2009. He is looking forward to working in the Admissions Department as a counselor in the fall. He and his fiance, Lacey Fraser, are planning an August wedding.

- Sam Mader, a sophomore studying Youth Ministries and Music, counts it a huge blessing to be at BBC. She enjoys residence hall life, worshiping God with her guitar, and serving in her church.

The three student bloggers will be writing throughout the semester. Other students may be added, too.
The BBC blog site also includes links to blogs hosted by Baptist Bible College & Seminary faculty.
