BBC&S Alumni get new home

Alumni Hall
Baptist Bible College & Seminary's Alumni & Church Relations Office has moved into a new location on the first floor of Jackson Hall, a dedicated area easier for visiting alumni to find and more accommodating to heavy traffic.

The new space, located near Room 140, features a display of alumni photos, BBC&S yearbooks, information for alumni, and the original manuscript of "Holding Fast the Faithful Word," the BBC&S college hymn.

BBC's Maintenance Department renovated the area ahead of the move. Originally three separate offices, the area was opened up and now includes a comfortable lounge area and two connected offices. New windows, doors and carpet were installed.

Outside the offices, a hallway contains large class graduation portraits of BBC alumni. These will be rotated to feature five years at a time. The entrance area in front of the hallway showcases the recipients of the Alumni of the Year award from 1967 to 2009.

Parents and alumni are invited to stop by the new Alumni Office while picking their students up for Christmas Break at the end of the semester for Christmas cookies and refreshments.

The Alumni & Church Relations Office was previously located on the third floor of Jackson Hall.
