Exchange enables graduates to receive new diploma
Graduates who earned a Bachelor of Religious Education degree from Baptist Bible may now exchange that diploma for a Bachelor of Science in Bible.
Baptist Bible awarded B.R.E. degrees from 1954 through 1982. It was the generally accepted bachelor's degree in the field at that time.
The Bachelor of Science in Bible degree has been awarded since. It is a more readily recognized degree.
Alumni who have earned a B.R.E. may exchange their degree for a B.S. in Bible by completing an online form and sending in a photocopy of the original B.R.E. diploma.
In exchanging the degree, BBC&S will specially craft the new diploma with the same signatures as the original one. The cost is $25.
Details are on the BBC&S Alumni website at www.bbc.edu/alumni. For questions, please contact the Registrar's Office at 570.585.9216 or email kkirby@bbc.edu.
