Fall Minister's Enrichment Day offers special workshops, fellowship
Baptist Bible Seminary will host a unique day for pastors, youth pastors, and pastor's wives on November 10, a time that also includes a special campus visit program for future students at Baptist Bible College.
Minister's Enrichment Day is specifically designed for the encouragement and spiritual growth of those in the ministry. The day features special sessions for both pastors and their wives and a special track for youth pastors led by veterans in youth ministry. The theme of the day is "The Clarity of the Bible: Renewing Our Commitment to a Clear Teaching of Scripture."
The schedule includes a Keynote Session focused on ministry led by BBC&S President Jim Jeffery and a General Session focused on theology led by Seminary Dean Dr. Mike Stallard. Attendees can choose among two workshops in each afternoon session.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The final workshops conclude around 4:15 p.m. The cost is just $12 per person. Refreshments, lunch, and a time to visit the BBC&S campus is included.
For details, contact Dr. Lee Kliewer at lkliewer@bbc.edu or 570.585.9360.
Youth Pastors and College Visit
Youth pastors are encouraged to bring teens in their church to experience BBC for themselves. They can meet with Admissions counselors, tour the campus, meet professors, and learn about dozens of academic programs available to them.
While students are touring, youth pastors are enjoying Minister's Enrichment Day.
For details on the College Visit, contact Dorcas Morgan at dmorgan@bbc.edu or 800.451.7664.
Special Time for Pastors, Wives
The opportunity to visit with peers from other churches has long been an attraction of Minister's Enrichment Day. The workshops and sessions are also beneficial.
Workshops for pastors include:
- Clarity in Vision for Church Growth
- Eschatological Clarity: Can We Know What Will Happen in the End Times?
- The Clarity of the Gospel in Your Evangelistic Methods
- Clarity in Worship: How to Teach Scripture in Worship
Youth Pastor options include "Developing a Clear Vision for Youth Ministry" by Dr. Dennis Wilhite and "Teaching Teens to Read the Bible for Personal Growth" by Dwight Peterson. "Personal Bible Study Helps for Women" is among the sessions for pastor's wives.
Baptist Bible Seminary offers students a genuine blend of rigorous academic content and transformational hands-on applications.
Five advanced degrees are available in several flexible formats, including a Master of Ministry degree that can be earned totally online. Special Seminary scholarships can bring the cost of earning a Master of Divinity degree to $67 a credit hour.
