Loescher new Director of Love-Life Marriage and Family Center
Dr. Friedie Loescher, a veteran educator, administrator, and counselor, has been named Director of the Love-Life Marriage and Family Center at Baptist Bible College & Seminary.
The center serves as a training facility for students in the Counseling Ministries program at Baptist Bible Graduate School and is one of a handful of community-focused centers located at Christian colleges.
Dr. Loescher has been involved with the Counseling Ministries program on a number of levels - from teaching counseling classes to supervising student internships. For over 40 years, he has served as a mentor and counselor to hundreds of BBC&S students, faculty, and staff, as well as a leader to Residence Hall Directors and Resident Assistants.
"We serve a great God whose heart desire is to restore broken lives to wholeness, and whose power brings about lasting change as we trust Him to work through us," he said.
As Director of the Love-Life Marriage and Family Center, Dr. Loescher will provide leadership and mentoring to the center's staff.
Recently retired director Dr. Dow Pursley established the center in January 2002.
"My desire is for the center to continue to serve the college and community as effectively as it has done under the outstanding tutelage of Dr. Dow Pursley," he said.

Counseling Ministries program
The center enables graduate students to serve in supervised internship positions, a requirement of the Master of Science in Counseling Ministries program.

The Love-Life Marriage and Family Center also provides sound biblical counseling services to hundreds of area individuals, couples and families in need.
The center's Clinical Supervisor is Heather Hall who is a BBGS graduate working on her Ph.D. in Human Development. Serving as Assistant Clinical Supervisor is Jen Hill, also a BBC and BBGS graduate. Rebecca Milliron serves as the center's Office Manager. She is a current BBGS student.
