Campus Appreciation Day brings together students, faculty, staff

Students, faculty, and staff worked together during Campus Appreciation Day on April 23, teaming to spruce up and remove the final signs of winter on the Baptist Bible College & Seminary campus.

College, Graduate School, and Seminary classes were cancelled during the day as the BBC&S campus joined forces to care for the grounds and buildings. The special day also served as a time to prepare for the guests and visitors arriving for Commencement on May 8 and the range of summer camps and conferences ahead.

A variety of chores were completed, including mulching, raking, landscaping, clearing branches, and picking up trash and other debris.

The event is modeled after Community Appreciation Day, an annual fall event in which students, staff, and faculty assist with numerous projects and clean-up efforts for individuals and groups in the greater Scranton area.

Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible Certificate to PhDs. Programs are available through the Clarks Summit campus and several distance learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.
