Seminary Preview Weekend includes conference, special scholarship offer

An upcoming special event for future students to learn how Baptist Bible Seminary can fit in their plans includes a unique scholarship offer and complimentary registration for BBC&S' annual Church Ministries Conference.

The next Preview Weekend is set for April 17-18, with guests having the $40 conference registration fee paid for them in advance. The successful time of training and building for church lay leaders and pastors is a valuable program that draws visitors from several states.

Even better: A $500 scholarship will be applied to the first semester of full-time study for those attending a Preview Weekend. It is among several Seminary scholarship components that can cut tuition costs by more than half.

All Preview Weekends feature campus and local area tours, classroom observation, Seminary chapel, lunch with Dean Dr. Mike Stallard, and visits with Admissions and Financial Aid representatives. Previous attendees have found the experience valuable.

The cost to attend a Preview Weekend is just $25 per person. It includes the reservation, two nights of housing, and all meals. Wives and finacees are welcome to attend, too.

Additional scholarships and benefits include:
- The unique Training Timothys Scholarship provides matching funds for up to $12,000 toward a Seminary degree.

- An additional $500 academic scholarship is available for first-time students.

- Logos Scholars Software valued at $630 is given to all first-semester, full-time students.

Many scholarships and other benefits have a May 1 deadline.
