Special prayer focus ahead at BBC&S

The day-to-day campus routine will be set aside on March 3 for a special time of prayer at Baptist Bible College.

The "Day of Prayer" exchanges regular classes for time in small groups and worship as students, faculty, and staff focus on praying for needs of members of the campus community and beyond.

"There are a lot of people in the BBC family, student families, and others at home who are hurting financially, physically, emotionally, and vocationally," said BBC Student Activities Director Jonathan Strayer. "We want this to be a key focus of our prayers."

Students will begin the day at 8 a.m. by meeting in small groups. Employees meet for prayer from 8 to 8:45 a.m. in the library. Workshops for students will be held at 9 a.m. and a worship gathering will be held at 10 a.m.

A time of prayer for students, faculty, and staff will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day will conclude with Rotunda Time in Jackson Hall at 10 p.m.

Baptist Bible Seminary will also have a special prayer emphasis during its chapels the week of March 2.
