Special tracks, targeted sessions highlight Church Ministries Conference
Enhancing the ministry of anyone who serves in a local church is the focus of a special two-day event in April at Baptist Bible College & Seminary.
The second annual Church Ministries Conference features more than four dozen workshop options in children, youth, adult, general, leadership, and outreach ministries. Special sessions for pastors and worship leaders are also available.
The seminars will be held Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18 on the Clarks Summit campus.

Targeted sessions
The 2009 keynote speaker is BBC&S Vice President and Provost Dr. Jim Lytle, a veteran educator and missionary. Prior to returning to BBC&S in 2007, Dr. Lytle and his wife, Diane, served on the mission field in Durban, South Africa, for 14 years.
Nearly two dozen speakers from academia, ministry organizations and the pastorate will lead sessions. Workshops are geared toward anyone involved in church work and volunteering. This includes teachers, greeters, counselors, youth leaders and seniors.
Workshop sessions feature tools, ideas and lessons applicable to all church ministries. The sessions are designed to be highly interactive to meet unique needs and situations faced by those in attendance. Topics include classroom management, helping teenagers transition, connecting with adult learners, training people to share their faith, and improving the function of your team.
Follows successful 2008
Over 300 pastors and church workers attended the first annual Church Ministries Conference in March 2008. Nearly 50 churches were represented.
