Tree Lighting Tradition Continues at BBC&S

Christmas Tree Lighting Holiday festivities at Baptist Bible College & Seminary kicked off December 2 with the traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the Jackson Hall rotunda.

Dr. John DeLeon of Clarks Summit donated the 14-foot pine. The tree was cut down and set up by Andy Harkleroad, Aaron Harkleroad and Tony Laidlaw. It was decorated by Sarah Carter and Pam Harkleroad.

BBC&S President Jim Jeffery and his wife Bert hosted the event as they have for the past seven years. The celebration also included carol singing and refreshments for the BBC staff, faculty and students who attended.

Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible Certificate to PhDs. Programs are available on the Clarks Summit campus, online, and through several distance learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.
