SkiBBC lets students experience college, slopes

SkiBBC College Days gives future students an exciting opportunity to mix a first-hand campus experience with winter sports in the nearby Pocono Mountains.

The weekend event is January 29-31. Register online and learn more here.

Visitors will spend time with BBC students as they live for two nights in a dorm, attend classes, meet and visit with professors, participate in chapel, and catch a BBC Defenders basketball game in the gym.

While on campus, visitors can meet their Admissions Counselor,, learn more about programs of interest, and discuss the BBC athletic program with coaches.

The full weekend of events includes:
-- Men's and women's basketball games are January 29 at 7 p.m. and January 31 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
-- A special chapel with Andy Giessman, a BBC Admissions Counselor and pastor at New Life Baptist Church in Scranton, PA.
-- Scheduled time to attend two BBC classes.
-- Skiing and Snowtubing at Sno Mountain Ski Resort.
-- Dinner Friday night at the resort.

SkiBBC isn't just for skiers. Sno Mountain also offers snowtubing on 10 chutes.

Registration cost for the weekend is $40, which includes two nights lodging on campus, three meals, a t-shirt and lift fees. Rental fees for equipment are an extra $10.
