Born and raised in the farming and manufacturing town of Elkhart, Indiana, he met Margie, his bride-to-be (from Columbus, Ohio) in college. Married in 1970, they have three adult children - Jennifer, John, and Nathan - and two grandsons, David and Andrew.

Dr. David Harris

Areas of expertise: Voice, Worship, Church Music, and Choral Methods

Dr. David Harris, Associate Professor of music at Baptist Bible College since 1989, is a native South Carolinian who earned his doctorate in voice performance from the University of Alabama. He and his wife Connie have three children - Jordan, Allison, and Dylan - and Calvin, a grandson.

David McGrew

David grew up in Clarks Summit, PA, where his father served at Baptist Bible College as Registrar and professor of New Testament Greek. He left for Cedarville University in 1996 to pursue studies in organic chemistry, but no sooner had he arrived than he found himself drawn toward the field of music.

Jenean Truax

A member of Baptist Bible College’s music faculty since 2006, Mrs. Truax teaches music theory and aural skills courses, piano and voice, and directs sectionals for the college’s Concert Chorale.
