The Noteworthy School exists to educate aspiring musicians of all ages and skill levels. We aim to cultivate individual potential and to prepare students for the next step of their musical journey. Ultimately, we desire for our students to see and appreciate beauty in the arts.
Students learn technique and artistry, with the help of gifted and accomplished instructors, in an affirmative and encouraging musical community. Delighting in both hard work and the process of music making, our students develop a lifelong love for music.

Lesson Registration:
Interested students should contact the school at noteworthy@bbc.edu or 570.585.9297 to set up an initial interview with the instructor. After completing the registration form and submitting the registration fee, students will be assigned a lesson time.

Cost:
For fall and spring semesters, tuition payments are made in two installments — one at the beginning of the semester and one at mid-semester. Rates will be adjusted as necessary for students who begin in the middle of a semester term. Students must also pay a registration fee — one per family.
For summer sessions, lessons are paid in monthly installments according to your personalized lesson schedule. No registration fee is required.
A sibling discount is available. Families who purchase one lesson may purchase a second at a discounted price. Contact the school for more details.

Fall 2011 (September 5th through December 19th = 14 Lessons)
Registration fee: $40
Half hour: $245
One hour: $420
Spring 2012 (January 2nd through May 7th = 18 Lessons)
Registration fee: $40

Summer 2012: No registration fee
Half hour: $17.50

Faculty Bios
Jessica Festa
B.S., B.S.M., Baptist Bible College
M.M. Vocal Performance, Binghamton University (In Progress)
Originally from New Jersey, Mrs. Festa first gained a love and excitement for music from a local home-school music program. This early experience has given her a passion for the musical education of home school students. She has studied music at the Phoenix School of Fine Arts, been involved in choral groups directed by Beth Prinz and Deborah Mellow, has studied piano with Diana Arnold and Laurel Rhodie, and has taken voice lessons from Denise Deleo and Dr. David Harris. After graduating from Baptist Bible College’s Music Education program, Mrs. Festa pursued a Master of Music in vocal performance taking courses from Binghamton University, studying voice with Mary Burgess. Currently, she resides in Olyphant, PA, with her husband, Mike and her dog, Sadie. Mrs. Festa maintains an active teaching schedule educating students of all ages from the Clarks Summit and Moscow, PA, areas.
Jenean Truax
B.S., B.S.M., Baptist Bible College
M.M. Vocal Performance, Binghamton University
A member of Baptist Bible College’s music faculty since 2006, Mrs. Truax has taught music history, music theory and aural skills courses, private piano and voice lessons. Mrs. Truax and her husband, Paul, live in Jermyn, PA, with their son, Eli. Her love for music began while focusing on instrumental music, playing in marching band, concert band, jazz band, handbell choir, and taking private lessons for over 10 years. During this time she studied piano with Marylee Morton and voice, at the Riverside Academy of Music, with Norma Codispoti. Once at Baptist Bible College, Mrs. Truax majored in Music Education with an emphasis in voice. She studied piano with Margaret Bos and Dr. Larry Kauffman and voice with Dr. David Harris. In addition to the degrees she earned from Baptist Bible College, she has recently finished a Master of Music in vocal performance from Binghamton University, where she studied voice with Mary Burgess.
