Special Guests
Peggy Walker

Peggy Walker, LYFE Hour Speaker
Peggy’s bright sense of humor and her no-nonsense approach to applying God’s Word have made her a cherished speaker at LYFE over the years. Her sense of adventure and enthusiasm play out in her ministry at women’s conferences, retreats, and seminars and in her ministry with teens and their parents alongside her husband Mel, president of Vision for Youth. Next year you will find them in South Africa, leading an evangelistic outreach at the World Cup competition. Peggy is a graduate of Baptist Bible College and has taught women’s and Christian education courses at BBC and Faith Baptist Bible College. She has three adult children and just started a new adventure as a grandmother. Anyone want to see a photo?

Christie LothamerChristie Lothamer, LYFE Hour Speaker
Christie offers a fresh and exciting approach to understanding the practicality of God’s Word. Her authenticity and passion are contagious and will no doubt leave you challenged to live for Jesus and to love Him more. Christie holds an undergraduate degree in Bible and Women’s Ministries and a graduate degree in Counseling from BBC. In addition to being actively involved as a leader and teacher in Bible study at her home church, Harvest Bible Chapel, Christie spends much of her time in biblical counseling. She and her husband Jeff, a pastor at HBC, along with their two children, make Grand Haven, Michigan, their home. When time allows, Christie likes nothing more than sitting outdoors with a good book and a strong cup of coffee.

Rebecca McDonaldRebecca McDonald, Featured Workshop Speaker
From the age of fourteen, Becky has been involved in wrapping arms of love around wounded women, beginning with a playmate who was wounded, raped, and had acid poured down her throat. The acid of her playmate's suffering burned a hole in Becky's heart and has since set her on a course of action. Now president of Women at Risk, International, Becky creates safe places for women and children rescued from many abuses, including sexual slavery, and gives voice to their silence, whispering the message that they were created for purpose and dignity and lifting their eyes to the Shepherd that walks beside them. She received her BA in World Religions and Philosophy from Grand Rapids Baptist College and pursued her graduate work at Michigan State University.

Jeff SmithJeff Smith, Guest Artist
Jeff has performed throughout the world as a featured performer and master teacher at local, state, and national training conferences and seminars in drama, worship arts, music ministry, teacher training, children’s ministry, and creative arts. He has won numerous awards in the areas of vocal music, drama, and comedy. As Director of Salt & Light Ministries, he has had the adventure of equipping teens and children to share the gospel through creative ministries and music. He has self-produced a variety of CDs and other musical projects, and many of his dramatic works have been published by Lillenas and Standard Publishing. As a farm boy and great outdoorsman, he has a lot to say about adventure, and he’s excited about LYFE since he will never have to stand in line at the bathrooms!
