OFF-CAMPUS DATABASES

While not all databases are available to off-campus users, the bulk of the library’s online content is available.

To access these databases, specific usernames and passwords are required. These are available from the library.
Please contact library@bbc.edu to verify your status as a patron and receive a copy of the database passwords.

EBSCOhost is a world-class collection of research databases that gives close attention to liberal arts (Academic Search Premier, Literary Reference Center, MAS Ultra, Military & Government Collection) as well as excellent religious/theological resources (ATLAS, CPI)  PyschInfo, PyschArticles, and Teacher Reference Center. ERIC is the premier database of education literature providing a public Web site search interface for nearly 1.2 million citations from 1966 to the present. Click here for an ERIC tutorial.

Gale is a leading research database with over 13,000 titles (5,000+ in full text) spanning a wide range of scholarly disciplines.

Global Road Warrior provides essential information on culture, religion, geography, government, currency, social practices and other important areas for all countries.

JSTOR provides access to the archives of over 1,000 leading academic journals across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as selected monographs and other valuable materials. Click here for a JSTOR tutorial.

Naxos Music Library is an online collection of music, primarily classical, streaming over 400,000 tracks and is searchable by composer, title or instrument.

Proquest includes access to ProQuest Dissertation & Theses, which is the best and broadest dissertation database currently available. ProQuest Religion provides full-text access to a number of unique theological research sources. Click here for a Proquest tutorial.

TREN is a library of over 10,000 theological thesis/dissertation titles in a wide breadth of scholarly evangelical research. TREN also makes available conference papers presented at annual meetings of several academic societies, including ETS.
