Named after the late Dr. Wendell Kempton, this $5.6 million, 62,000 square-foot expansion of the Phelps Student Center will include new recreation and training areas.

This first phase of the expansion project will face the Quad area and stretch just past the existing tennis courts, which will be removed. A courtyard area will temporarily fill the corner space between the Phelps Student Center and the Kempton Athletic Center.
