ABWE / Missions Master of Arts

Baptist Bible College offers a special ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) track designed for those who seek to become better prepared for service in the mission field and wish to earn a graduate-level degree. It is available only for ABWE missionary personnel.

ABWE’s Center for Excellence in International Ministries (CEIM) provides missionaries and those preparing for the mission field with practical training courses that can also earn them academic credit toward a Master of Arts degree.

Center for Excellence in International Ministries courses

  • Methods of Bible Study: Learning to Grasp God’s Word
  • Basic Missional Theology: Preparing to Do Theology
  • The Old Testament Story: Preparing to Tell God's Story of Redemption

BBC will accept 15 credit hours earned through CEIM as the elective portion. You must also take at least five courses, totaling 15 credit hours, from the program’s required core.

There are two required core areas: Bible, Theology & Interpretation, and Communications. You must select four courses in the Bible, Theology & Interpretation area and one course in Communications. Course listings for all sessions are available online
