Overview
God has called you to fulfill a certain role – to give people life-changing hope. Whether you recently completed your undergraduate studies or you’ve been in career ministry for decades, BBGS can equip you with the skills to open the door to a broader career and more effective ministry.
The M.S. in Counseling Ministries degree is a 48-credit-hour program, which incorporates both classroom learning and practical experience. You can complete the classroom portion of your program in as little as two years.
Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped …
1. For a professional counseling career or other ministry leadership positions.
2.
To apply to test for certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
3.
To apply for licensure to minister as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
In addition to classroom knowledge, you’ll receive over 950 hours of counseling experience. Click here to learn more about the Love Life Marriage and Family Center, where you will complete a three-credit, supervised counseling practicum.
