The degree
The M.S. in Counseling Ministries degree is offered in a 48 credit-hour format that incorporates classroom learning and practical experience.
This degree will prepare you well whether your goals are to pursue licensure, or minister more effectively in a non-licensed role. Some states (including Pennsylvania) will require you to complete 12 additional elective credits prior to applying for licensure.

A few states have restrictions on licensure application for those with degrees earned through online programs. Learn more here.
