Choosing a Concentration
At Baptist Bible Graduate School, choosing a concentration in your master’s program lets you tailor your academic experiences to meet your specific goals.
The 30 credit-hour Master of Science in Christian School Education degree prepares you to grow your ministry and teaching career.
All classes are offered in a unique summer-module format. Some are also available in a distance-learning format. Courses are scheduled on a rotating basis. This allows you to earn your degree in as little as three summers.
Elementary Education Concentration
You will develop your knowledge base in all subject areas. The program will also help you manage your classroom, relate to parents, and more effectively reach your students on spiritual and academic levels.
You will also learn the latest in teaching practices and methodology. A comprehensive project over the last half of your studies will tie together your learning experiences.
Meeting a Need
Elementary school teachers bear the great responsibility of growing a person’s mind in the highly impressionable stages of a young life. With that responsibility comes the great privilege to encourage both spiritual and academic progress in that child. Passionate and skilled elementary teachers who recognize that potential are in high demand in today’s Christian schools.

On a practical level, you will know the most effective methods of teaching in each of the major content areas, be able to recognize and find solutions for students with reading and learning disabilities, and use biblical principles of discipline and discipleship.
