College British comedy takes center stage Lettice and Lovage, a lighthearted story about overcoming mediocrity, will be presented this month by the Drama and Communications Department at Baptist Bible College. The charming and hilarious British comedy by Peter Shaffer won two 1990 Tony awards. Performances will be at 8 p.m. on March 6, 7, and 8 in the Phelps Student Center. Read more.
	Church Ministries Conference features variety of practical workshops Nearly three dozen general session and workshops will be available at the coming Church Ministries Conference, options designed to enhance the effectiveness of anyone serving in their local church. Read more.

	Graduate School BBGS seminars focus on counseling Developing and operating a healthy counseling ministry is the focus of a series of seminars at Baptist Bible Graduate School this spring. Students, pastors and counselors can benefit from the sessions, offered in March and April on the Clarks Summit campus. Read more.

	Alumni New Alumni Directory in production A handy reference to help BBC&S friends and alumni stay connected and informed is now being assembled. 	Foundation Higher interest rates for savers If your income depends on your savings or money market account, BBC Foundation can increase your returns. The Federal Reserve has cut interest rates in dramatic fashion. The intended boost to the economy is a bust for savers. 	BBC&S Staff Steckiel to lead Alumni and Church Relations Departments Mark Steckiel ('81) has been named Director of Alumni & Church Relations at Baptist Bible College & Seminary. Mark has been Director of Church Relations for three years. Read more.

	Seminary Global Ministry Forum held Effectively ministering to those of the Roman Catholic faith was the focus of this year’s Global Ministry Forum at Baptist Bible Seminary. Workshops and seminars were held February 18–20. Read more.

	Regional events BBC&S visits Florida, Chicago and Milwaukee next Alumni and friends of Baptist Bible College & Seminary reconnected with the school at a special event near Tampa, Florida in late February. The BBC&S Friends & Alumni Event was the second in a series of regional gatherings. Read more.

	Missions Staff member heads to mission field Dann Ransom, a technician in the Information Technology Department since 2003, left his staff position at Baptist Bible College & Seminary to prepare full-time for service as a missionary in Italy. Read more.

	Athletics Men take NEAC Championship The Defenders men’s basketball team captured its first NEAC championship with an 84-73 win over Cazenovia College Saturday, March 1. The victory gives Baptist Bible automatic qualification into the NCAA III national tournament. BBC learns where it will play in the national tournament about noon on Monday, March 3 at www.ncaa.com. The Lady Defenders’ season ended in the NEAC semi-finals on Friday, February 29 with a loss to D’Youville College. The team ended the season with a 13-12 record. Faculty Update
A paper written by Dr. Mike Stallard was published as a chapter in the book, Dispensationalism Tomorrow & Beyond: A Theological Collection in Honor of Charles C. Ryrie. The book is available from Tyndale Seminary Press.
