Davis earns 200th win with Lady Defenders

Chris Davis earned his 200th career win Wednesday as head coach of the Lady Defenders Women's Soccer team, with the Baptist Bible College players defeating Keuka College 3-1.

The Lady Defenders are off to a 5-1 start in 2008. Last year, the team made their first trip to the NCAA III national tournament. In the victory, Erin Law of Franklin, NH, scored three goals -- all in just over four minutes of play in the first half.

Coach Davis, who serves as a Professor in BBC's Health & Physical Education Department, is in his 15th year leading the team. His 200th win came in his 333rd game as head coach. His career record is 200-121-12.

Baptist Bible next travels to Baltimore, MD, on September 27 for a Colonial States Athletic Conference match-up with the College of Notre Dame at 3 p.m.

Coach Davis' milestone will be recognized before the next home game on October 1, when the Lady Defenders take on Cabrini College.
