Faculty enjoy time of prayer in Tower

Faculty of Baptist Bible College & Seminary gathered for a special time of worship and prayer in Jackson Hall's Tower ahead of the start of fall semester classes.
Recognizing the importance of beginning the academic year in prayer, Vice President and Provost Dr. Jim Lytle planned the session in the campus' centerpiece building. The Tower meeting was the first of its kind but may become an annual event.
Dr. David Harris led the faculty in singing "How Great Thou Art" and a few other hymns, as well as some more recently written praise choruses. After worshipping in song, the faculty broke into small groups of two and three for a time of prayer.
Those who attended enjoyed the opportunity to worship the glorious Creator while surrounded by the beauty of His creation.
Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible Certificate to PhDs. Programs are available through the Clarks Summit campus and several distance learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.
