Summer Crew set for service
Moving furniture, cleaning dorms, and helping with countless other needs across campus are among the tasks ahead for the six-person Summer Crew at Baptist Bible College & Seminary.
A Summer Crew is hired each year to work with the Maintenance Department in keeping the campus clean for summer camps, conferences, and other events. This year's crew is led by Roddy Hannah, BBC's Director of Career Services, and student leader Kenny Kirby. Other crew members include Isaac Denton, Brynna Stockdale, Eve Sutherland, Jeremiah Tomasetti, and Mel Williams.
Although their main responsibility is the cleaning and upkeep of residence halls, the Crew will also work in the Underground Cafe and complete other tasks assigned by Hannah. In past years, crew members have worked as lifeguards and done landscaping around campus.
Members of the Crew work on campus for the entire summer. The money they earn goes directly toward paying their school bills.
So far this year, Crew members have enjoyed finding unique items left in residence halls ceilings and spent time serving those who have attended the Men's Retreat and the LYFE Women's Conferences. Click here for details on upcoming summer events, including Teen Leadership Conference.
