Culture Expo: The British Isles
The Student Missions Fellowship of Baptist Bible College presented its first “Culture Expo: The British Isles” on February 24. Niall O’Neil, the vice president of the Student Missions Fellowship, was the event’s chief organizer, along with Fletcher and Ketcham dorms.
Niall planned an evening filled with an array of tasty food from the British Isles, ranging from “pigs-in-a-blanket” to scones. While the food was a big part of this social, the main attraction was the music. A live Irish music band called West O’Clare, featuring Bryan Kane, Pat Kane, and Brian Hyland, performed throughout the night.
Testimonial videos of BBC students who have ministered in the British Isles were shown during an intermission of the music. Literature on ministry opportunities in the British Isles was also available that evening.
The Student Missions Fellowship had been planning the Culture Expo since last year. This year, it finally happened.
