Theodore A. Boykin

Assistant Professor of Bible, Theology, and Greek

Aside from his responsibilities as professor, Theodore (Ted) Boykin enjoys serving in whatever capacity in which he is needed. Mr. Boykin is an active member of his local church, teaching the college Sunday school class, leading worship for the services, and serving as a deacon.

Mr. Boykin's favorite books are those on the topic of grace, such as Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen, and What’s So Amazing about Grace by Phillip Yancey. Mr. Boykin maintains, “The grace of God is what changed my life and is continuing to motivate me to be more like my Savior each day. I just don’t think that I will ever get over it.”

Mr. Boykin and his wife Sherry are the dorm parents of Loescher Hall. They have a beautiful baby girl named Katherine Anne.
