Since the spring of 2001, Lynelle Buchanan has been dedicated to the instruction of students in the Pre-Counseling Program. Lynelle reflected, "God has given me a passion for the Word of God and the application of that Word to the lives of hurting people through the practice of Biblical counseling."

Lynelle and her husband James are also entering their fifth year as the dorm parents of Barndollar Dorm. "Watching God do amazing things in the lives of young women brings my husband and I so much joy," stated Lynelle. "We have the privilege of watching growth and transformation take place all of the time."

Lynelle's hobbies include domestic tasks such as sewing, decorating, and scrapbooking. She and her husband have three children: Matthew, Christopher, and Bethany.
