Dr. Brian T. Maxwell

As an Associate Professor of Speech and Drama, Dr. Maxwell utilizes his artistic abilities to bring joy to others and glory to God. Dr. Maxwell's expressive and enthusiastic demeanor provides a memorable experience for any student taking his classes. Dr. Maxwell is also the executive director of BBC's fall and spring plays.

When asked what he enjoys when not in class or on stage, Dr. Maxwell replied, “Whenever I get the chance, I love to dig into a good book. I love fiction!” He went on to explain that his favorite book is Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird . “I identify with this poor family struggling to make it in a small town, standing up to injustice and racial prejudice. The characters are beautifully written, and the story is compelling.” Other hobbies included listening to music, playing the piano, watching movies, and shopping.

Dr. Maxwell and his wife Andrea have five children: Brandon, Travis, Alyssa, Evan, and Seth.
