RiSE team expands summer reach, releases album

RiSE, a BBC traveling worship team, is set with an expanded schedule of events this summer, carrying a greater capacity thanks to an increased number of members and the release of a new album.

The now 15-member group will be divided into two traveling teams performing at churches, camps, schools, and other venues beginning this month.

A tour of Christian schools throughout May will take one of the groups from Pennsylvania to New York, Maryland, and New Jersey.

In June, both teams will be on the road. They will perform in the same states and add Ohio, West Virginia, and Washington D.C., to the mix.

"It's just been cool to watch, what God has led us to do through music and ministry and letting Him produce the fruit," said Geoff Ellsworth, a BBC Admissions Counselor who leads and mentors RiSE.

New Album
Along with the summer tour, RiSE is also gaining momentum with its recently release an album, "God is Able."

BBC&SThe group was awarded eight hours of recording time at an area studio for being named the top performer at a regional college "Battle of the Bands" in the fall.

The seven-song album features members of the 2012-2013 RiSE team and incudes a bonus track that was recorded in the Jackson Hall Rotunda.
