Special video captures excitement of Welcome Weekend

The joy and excitement of freshmen starting college life - from arrival at residence halls to mixing at student center events - is captured on a new video.

Welcome Weekend is BBC's annual program to blend new students into the life and activities that await them after arriving on campus for the first time.

The special four-minute video was produced by BBC&S' Video Communications and shown to students and others during the weekend.

The weekend introduction to campus life includes time with student leaders, career services, professors, administrators, and more. The first week on campus included a powerful Convocation Chapel, a ministry fair to connect with local churches and other opportunities, and a new student retreat.
