Nathalia lives in Vibbard Hall on campus and enjoys building relationships both in the dorm and on the soccer field.

Ever since I was six years old, I have wanted to be a missionary. I want to spend my life spreading the good news to lost people in any culture. I would like to use medical missions anywhere, but India has always been on my heart.

I have been around Word of Life in Brazil my entire life and always wanted to go to the Bible Institute for a year to get a good biblical foundation. I decided to go to Word of Life in New York instead of the one close to my house, getting the biblical education, gaining an experience away from home, and learning the language.

I heard about BBC during my year at Word of Life. I decided to visit it and loved it.
The beauty of the campus and parks around it caught my attention. But what amazed me the most was the commitment to Christianity I observed during chapel and talking with the staff. I also really enjoyed the classes visited. The content was really interesting and the teacher also brought to our attention the Christian view on the things we were learning. I loved that.

I am a Sports and Health Science major studying physical therapy. Health care has always been my passion and I desire to use it for missions. Right now, I am exploring my options and considering the nursing major, so I am working with my advisor to figure out some classes I could take.

Soccer is my passion, and I have played my entire life. I played every Monday at my church, because we had a women's team, and also played in a sports club in Brazil for two years.
Playing soccer is the most relaxing activity for me. I just love the game. It also allows me to immediately connect with people and develop friendships.

Many things at BBC have had an impact on me. The chapel speakers have definitely influenced me a lot. Other godly women on campus have also inspired and encouraged me spiritually and in academics. My soccer coaches - Coach Davis, Coach Hicks, and Coach Diven - are also a great influence.
