Commencement marks 80th year

BBC&S will mark its 80th year during its annual graduation ceremony, awarding diplomas to nearly 200 students. The Commencement event is Saturday, May 5, in the Phelps Student Center beginning at 9 a.m.

President Jim Jeffery, the Commencement speaker, will encourage graduates, families, and friends at the occasion. His challenge will focus on the global need for spiritual leaders and draw on biblical truth from Psalm 78:70-72.

The morning will also include performances arranged through the BBC Department of Music.

Graduates and their families will enjoy a special time with President and Mrs. Jeffery and the BBC faculty the evening before Commencement.

This year's event will mark 80 years of graduates in school history. Founded in 1932 in Johnson City, NY, BBC&S moved to its current location in Clarks Summit, PA in 1968.
