Conference set to challenge, train student leaders

"Need to Lead" is the focus of a unique leadership conference for high school students at BBC in November.

The Growing Leaders Conference prepares and encourages student leaders to influence fellow students and their schools for Jesus Christ. High School students along with their youth pastors will be challenged and motivated through dynamic speakers and practical workshops.

BBC&SStudents are able to experience campus life and college classes as part of the November 10-12 conference. Registration is $110 per student and $80 per youth leader or advisor. For every five students, one advisor can come for free.

Inside the Conference
Keynote speaker Tim Morris will focus on identifying and developing leadership abilities. Tim is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and now uses his skills to develop leaders into influencers for Jesus Christ.

Sessions and workshops focus students on recognizing the need for leadership and learning how to lead when necessary.

Practical leadership workshops and dynamic application sessions are part of the special conference.

Experiencing Campus Life
Visiting students at the Growing Leaders Conference will get a taste of college life and campus activities at BBC. Staying in residence halls, they will interact with college students who are leading on campus.

As part of the conference, students will attend college classes, pray with BBC's Student Leadership Council, and experience a campus-wide social, BBC's annual Lip Sync.
