Rush of Fools coming to BBC during WinterDAZE weekend

Contemporary Christian band Rush of Fools will present a special concert on the BBC campus during the WinterDAZE upcoming college visit weekend.

The concert is January 28 and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for BBC students and $12 for the public. All tickets are $12 the day of the show.

Popular Band with Deep Roots
Originally from Birmingham, AL, Rush of Fools took their name from 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, where Paul teaches that God has chosen the foolish things of this world to shame the wise, and the weak to shame the strong, so our faith is in God not men. Baptist Bible College & Seminary

Rush of Fools gained popularity in 2007 when their hit single "Undo" remained at number one for four weeks on "20 The Countdown Magazine" - a syndicated weekly Christian music countdown program. In 2008, the band was nominated for four Dove awards.

The weekend also features worship with RiSE, BBC's student praise band. The group will also open for Rush of Fools.


Special Campus Visit Weekend
The concert will take place during the special WinterDAZE visit weekend January 27-30. The event gives future students opportunities to experience campus life first-hand, enjoy winter sports at a nearby resort, and attend the Rush of Fools concert.

The cost is only $35 for future students and includes housing, a free concert ticket, and all of weekend's events. Registration can be completed online at www.bbc.edu/winterdaze and is due January 24.

Youth pastors, sponsors, and parents are welcome. The cost is only $15 for tubing. Housing is not provided. Find information on area hotels here.

Youth pastors and youth leaders who bring student groups to WinterDAZE will each be given a complimentary ticket to the Rush of Fools concert.

Unique Experience for Future Students
Visitors will experience dorm life as BBC students host them for three nights.
The experience includes:
-A ticket to the Rush of Fools concert (one per registrant).
- Scheduled time to attend two classes.
- Tubing and recreation at nearby Sno Mountain Ski Resort.
- BBC men's and women's basketball games.
- Special sessions with Jason Jackson, a pastor and BBC alumnus.

WinterDAZE is not just for skiers, Sno Mountain offers snowtubing on 10 chutes. Skiing and snowboarding are available for additional costs.

Campus visits are a great way for future students to learn about BBC. Several other events and tailored visits are set, and other times can be arranged.
