Spring Summit highlights global Christian leadership

How alumni and students are serving, leading, and preparing well in a range of disciplines and locations -- from basketball and drama to urban missions and community outreach -- is the focus of the spring 2010 issue of Summit magazine, Baptist Bible College & Seminary's semi-annual periodical.

Carrying the theme of "global Christian leadership," the spring Summit highlights leadership across many paths, as well as President Jim Jeffery's description of the "fruits and roots" of leadership as drawn from insights from Scripture.

The magazine is available online at www.bbc.edu/summit. For details on obtaining a printed copy, email summit@bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.

The spring issue also describes how giving to equip others makes a difference for Christ, brings readers up to date on alumni, and highlights recent campus activities and events.

An update on and fun facts about the new $4.5 million Kempton Athletic Center is also included. Fresh details, including new photos and a video, are posted at www.bbc.edu/kempton.

Work on the facility will continue through the summer. Information on all summer events and conferences, including sports camps, Teen Leadership Conference, Junior High Boot Camp, and Summer Volunteers Week, are online at www.bbc.edu/summer.

Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers an outstanding Christian education through on-campus, online, and other distance learning options. Students learn to serve and lead as they gain critical leadership and life skills.
