Day of Prayer brings students together for Haiti
In light of recent events in Haiti, the annual Day of Prayer at Baptist Bible College & Seminary will focus on time to pray for those affected by the earthquake.
The campuswide Day of Prayer will take place Tuesday, March 2. The BBC Student Leadership Council has planned various prayer-focused activities for the day.
In addition to a Haitian-themed meal, students, faculty, and staff will be given an opportunity to specifically pray for and encourage residents of Haiti.
Workshops centered on the importance of prayer in ministry, as well as a faculty panel discussion in chapel about the role of prayer in life, will be part of the special day.
The Day of Prayer, scheduled each semester, provides a focused time of reflection, prayer, and worship.
Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible Certificate to PhDs. Programs are available on the Clarks Summit, PA, campus, online, and through several distance-learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.
