Mel is a BBC ('76 B.R.E.) and BBS ('96, M.Min.) graduate who has a deep love for BBC and for students. He is an author, speaker, teacher, veteran ministry and church leader, and president of Vision For Youth, an international network for youth ministry. Mel and his wife, Peggy, are the parents of three grown children - all of whom are BBC graduates: Kristi ('00), a missionary in Germany; Todd ('03), a Vision For Youth missionary; and Travis ('04), a youth pastor in Indiana. The couple is active in Heritage Baptist Church in Clarks Summit, PA where Mel leads the college-age young adult ministry.

Sean MacPherson was born in Wilmington, DE and is a 1996 graduate of BBC. He and his wife Meredith have three children: Carlee, 8; Conner, 5; and Cassie, 2. He joined the Admissions team at BBC because he believes strongly in BBC’s mission to prepare young people for ministry. In his spare time, he enjoys his family and taking in a game. His hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing, and anything else outdoors.

A graduate of BBC&Sí Accelerated Graduate Degree Program, Lori has a heart for discipleship and a love for people. She is originally from Findlay, OH and has served in numerous leadership roles in camps, schools, and other ministries where she has helped and discipled people. She currently serves others through her work in the graduate and undergraduate admissions offices.

A 1994 graduate of BBC’s Elementary Education program, Kris currently serves on campus as a Resident Director in Vibbard Hall, and as Campus Visit Coordiantor. Before coming to BBC she was an elementary school teacher for 18 years. She enjoys building relationships with people and introducing them to the BBC campus.

Arrianna is originally from West Palm Beach, Fl. She came to BBC as a student- transfer from Word of Life, and is enjoying the change of scenery from Florida to Pennsylvania. She loves ministering to the students she serves as an Admissions Counselor. Seeing God's hand in the lives of students and watching him provide is a highlight of her job.

Jeff is originally from Emlenton, PA and is the oldest of two siblings. He is 2013 graduate with a great love for BBC. As a Counseling major he enjoys working in Admissions because it gives him the opportunity to help students find out who God has made them to be, and to discover the educational path He has for them.

Jared is originally from Massachusetts and is the youngest of four. He values clear communication and good customer service and enjoys using his skills in those areas as he interacts with prospective students. He enjoys running, international cuisine, history and worldview studies, and music. Rather than a singular favored passage of scripture, Jared says, “I enjoy every aspect of Scripture’s grand meta-narrative, from Genesis to Revelation, as it paints a glorious picture of God’s perfect plan to bring glory to Himself through the unmerited redemption of His creation through Christ’s all-sufficient sacrifice.”

Charity grew up in Lake Ariell, PA, a little sister to two older brothers. Before joing the Admissions team she was finishing up her degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at BBC. She enjoys working with rest of the team, interacting with current students, and encouraging prospective students in their walk with Christ. Some things she like doing outside of work are running, hiking, kayaking and cooking. A favorite scripture passage for Charity is Psalm 139.

Traci is a 2013 BBC graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Communications/Theatre.) She is passionate about learning truth and loving and serving people for God's glory. In her spare time she finds herself interacting with literature, film, plays, tv dramas, and music; and is fascinated by universal and biblical themes that unite unique and individual souls to one another and refine us to be compassionate to broken people as well as point us to Christ and the truth of the gospel! in Colossians 3:23, "For whatever you do, do it enthusiastically for the LORD and not men."

Geoff was born in Scranton, PA, but spent most of his life in Southern California. He and his wife Susan have two children—Connor and BayLynn. Geoff served as a youth pastor and as a worship and arts pastor for 16 years in two churches in Southern California. He loves loves spending time with his family, riding motorcycles or bicycles, and playing soccer, tennis or basketball. His passions are the local church and development of spiritual leaders.

Originally from Meadville, PA, Jake is a graduate of BBC’s Specialized Ministries program. As a member of the Admissions team he loves to travel and meet new people. He enjoys building relationships and challenging people to surrender their lives for the cause of Christ. One of Jake’s favorite scripture passages is Philippians 1:21 which reads “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
