Steps to Success

Making a priceless experience affordable . . .

At BBC you will experience an affordable education that is grounded in excellence. Almost all of our students qualify for financial aid. In fact, last year over ninety-five percent of our students received financial assistance totaling more than $4.8 million.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6, NIV)

Step One: Think Scholarships and Grants

In addition to Federal and State Grants, we offer the BBC Grant to each eligible student. That means you will receive between $2,750 and $5,000. Please refer to the table located under Scholarships & Grants. We also encourage you to pursue the scholarship opportunities listed in Helpful Resources and those that may be available in your home town.

Step Two: Think Jobs

Many students work during the summer and school year. It’s easy to contribute to your education while at BBC. Pennsylvania boasts one of the highest minimum wage rates in the nation—$7.15 per hour. You can take home at least $1,500 per semester by working 20 hours per week.

Step Three: Think Savings

You may already have some money saved for college, or you may have a family member who wants to help you. Countless BBC graduates can testify that the leadership skills for life and ministry that a BBC education provides are worth the money.

Step Four: Think Long-Term on Loans
When you fill out your FAFSA, you will learn about the federal loan opportunities available to you. This could include the subsidized Stafford Loan, which requires no payments while you are in college. Any loan you take for your college education helps you get from where you are to where you want to go. Used wisely, college loans help you invest in yourself.
