About JB:
JB loves life! She enjoys interacting with people, especially “her” girls. She originally hails from Rittman, OH, where she lived her entire life until the great move to begin college at BBC. She has a great family and two very cute nieces. She graduated from BBC in 2003 with a B.S. in Bible and Pre-Counseling, and received her Master’s in Counseling Ministries from Baptist Bible Graduate School in 2006. During her last year of graduate school, the Lord burdened her heart for college women, and she was able to serve an internship through a program developed for women interested in Women’s Ministries and Counseling. Through this, she knew the Lord was calling her to work with college students – a calling she has responded to and loved! When not spending time with the Commons girls, she can probably be found reading, going out for coffee with friends, playing Nintendo Wii, or sleeping.

History of Commons
Harold Commons joined Baptist Bible Seminary’s executive committee in 1933. A year later he was unanimously elected the seminary’s second President, an office that he held until 1936. President Commons’ intense convictions were complimented by his spirit of humility. Known for his compassion and approachability, he was well-loved by both his students and fellow faculty members. Commons Hall is so-named in recognition of his valued contribution during some of the school’s most formative years.

Fast Facts

• Commons Hall’s dorm theme for the upcoming school year is "Get Real" with a focus on Colossians chapter three.
• The girls of Commons Hall have a lot of fun together as they focus on building relationships while serving others.
