Health Services

The Campus Health Center nursing staff assists in maintaining and promoting the health of the entire BBC&S family which includes all students and their wives and children. Services are provided in accordance with the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act.

A registered nurse serves the campus on a part-time basis while a local doctor is available every other week for appointments on campus. The Campus Health Center furnishes ordinary medicines and first-aid supplies, but students are responsible for doctor's fees and the cost of prescriptions/medicine.

Services Available
Treatment and/or advice for minor illnesses, vision screening, blood pressure screening, ear and throat examinations, T.B. testing, administration of allergy injections, informal teaching, referral services, ultrasound therapy, and laboratory testing upon physician's order are all available at the CHC.
