This powerful online program guides students to understand and embrace the Christian worldview in light of competing worldviews and to understand and engage their contemporary worlds from this perspective.
Offered entirely through online distance learning, this 120-credit program is convenient, flexible, and life-changing.
Core courses
Gain a strong foundation to understand and apply biblical truth through 42 credit hours of Bible and theology courses. A required set of General Studies courses supplements that foundation, enabling you to more fully consider the world you minister in.
You will then build on this foundation with 42 credit hours of deeper study, with core courses including:
The Life of the Mind and the Christian Worldview
Ethics and the Christian Worldview
Epistemology and the Christian Worldview
Philosophy of Religion and the Christian Worldview
Politics and the Christian Worldview
Ethics and the Contemporary World
Epistemology and the Contemporary World
World Religions and the Contemporary World
Politics and the Contemporary World
Double focus
Your degree program is designed with a double focus. Courses and texts focus both on understanding and embracing the Christian worldview from among other competing worldviews and on understanding the contemporary world from a Christian worldview perspective.
Through the "Christian Worldview" and "Contemporary World" courses, you will build a portfolio that will form the foundation of a senior project, articulating your worldview and it’s implications for the contemporary world.
Jeremy Carpenter, is a youth pastor and online student.
"The Worldview Studies program has completely revolutionized the way I teach. Instead of Bible lessons saturated with me telling them what to do and how to live, I'm teaching them how to think for themselves, " Jeremy says.

What they say
“It’s my conviction that nothing is more life-changing or more practical on a grand scale than investing your time and energy with friends in the pursuit of greater clarity and comprehensiveness of perspective. This is the heart of the Worldview Studies program, which constitutes a functional laboratory for global Christian ministry by students practicing the arts of biblical thinking and gracious, yet uncompromising cultural engagement.”
