Strong Christian leaders are needed to take on the management, administration, and spiritual direction of powerful opportunities in sports and athletics.

BBC’s Sports Management program prepares you to be an effective global Christian leader in professional, collegiate, and amateur sports organizations, sports-related ministries, and para-church efforts.

This unique program combines the practical management and ethical elements of BBC’s Business Administration program with the discipleship emphasis of our Sports Ministries major.

Your passion for sports can grow a unique set of skills. You will be equipped with marketable business and administration skills to excel wherever God leads you.

Core courses
We give you a strong foundation to understand and apply biblical truth through 42 hours of Bible and theology courses. This biblical foundation is the basis for your personal character development as well as the establishment of ethical business and management philosophies.

A required set of General Studies courses supplements that foundation and enables you to consider the world in which you will minister. You will build on this foundation with 42 credit hours of sports ministry and business management courses, including six credit hours of internship.

Making the program your own
Sports Management prepares you to use your love of athletics and your heart for people to build bridges to a wide range of ages, cultures and backgrounds.

You will gain real-life experience and practical grounding from the built-in internship. As you work alongside professionals in the Sports Management field, you will become familiar with the responsibilities and challenges of management and administration..

Elective classes allow you to supplement your core courses with classes that build into the program your individual interests and goals.

Many options after graduation
You will earn a Bachelor of Science with a major in Sports Management. You will graduate having completed coursework equivalent to a double major in Bible and Sports Management. You may elect to receive a B.S. in Bible instead.

As a graduate, you will be able to serve God and lead others though an administrative and management role in a sports-oriented environment.
