Education Pastor Program
 |
The health of today’s local church is in the hands of its leaders, who must be ready to live with integrity, serve with passion, and teach with confidence. Along with evangelism, outreach, counseling, and preaching ministries, church leaders have a God-given responsibility to educate and equip their people to grow in their relationship with Christ and to serve others. Teaching, discipling, and leading God’s people is an incredible privilege that requires the best preparation possible. It requires an excellent education that will equip you to be an effective ministry leader. There is no better place to prepare for this calling than at Baptist Bible College.
Young and old, men and women, saved and unsaved–the Education Pastor program trains you to meet the needs of a diverse group of people in the local church. Through rigorous classwork, hands-on experience, and a deeply committed faculty, the program produces leaders who can confidently guide, direct, and equip others in the discipleship process. A holistic approach to the program means that students emerge as well rounded leaders with a greater depth of experience in and understanding of all aspects of ministry leadership.
You simply won’t find a better group of professors than the team of men who are equipping tomorrow’s ministry leaders in our Education Pastor Program. Their combined ministry experience of over 100 years, their strong academic qualifications, and an unwavering dedication to their students places them among the elite of all ministry school faculty. They are united in their mission, “to equip God’s people to do the work of the ministry and build up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12). |

The academic rigors of the Education Pastor program serve to prepare our graduates for the demands of seminary coursework. Real People
"My time at BBC has challenged me to do everything with excellence. This challenge has extended into all areas of life and is continuing to drive me to become the church leader God has designed me to be. The Education Pastor program really prepares the student to disciple the body of Christ. The faculty pours all they have into students and go above and beyond what is required or expected of them. I believe that when you’re looking for a school to prepare you for full time ministry the school must teach that the Bible takes priority and that the people must practice what they teach. I’m convinced that BBC is doing these things and that God is being glorified!”
- Brian Wilbert, BBC student
"At BBC, I was prepared for full-time ministry through practical instruction and the example of the faculty. I learned how to create ministries that meet people’s needs and how to create lessons that gained involvement, taught Scriptural truth, and brought about conviction for change. The biggest strength of the Education Pastor program is the faculty. You really get a chance to see their heart for ministry and to learn from their experience and ideas. The faculty at BBC impacted my life greatly.”
- Eric Fry, BBC graduate, Associate Pastor, Bible Baptist Church, Huntington, Indiana |
