If you are a parent of a school-aged student (ie. home schooled) who lives in Northeastern Pennsylvania, BBC's HPE 4 ME program is designed specifically for you.
What is HPE 4 ME?
HPE 4 ME is a health and physical education program offered by Baptist Bible College's Health & Physical Education department for area home-schooled children in grades K-12.
Why attend HPE 4 ME?
The purpose of HPE 4 ME is to:
... provide quality health and physical education instruction.
... increase fitness and activity levels.
... teach new activities and games.
... encourage social interaction with other school-age children.
Who are the directors?
Dr. Elaine Brown is an Associate Professor of Health & Physical Education and Chairperson of the Health and Physical Education Deparment at BBC. She has 29 years of teaching experience with kindergarten through college students and 22 years coaching experience with students in junior high through college.
Dr. Chris Davis is a Professor of Health & Physical Education at BBC and the head coach of the women's soccer team. He has 35 years of college teaching experience and is also the head coach of the girl's soccer team at Abington Heights High School.

What are the dates and time for the sessions?
Sessions are on select Mondays throughout the semester and are held from noon to 1 p.m. Please be prompt and punctual as we start on time.
When will HPE 4 ME be cancelled for weather-related reasons?
When BBC&S and/or Abington Heights School District are closed or open late, HPE 4 ME will also be cancelled.

What is the cost?
$10 per student for the first semester, includes t-shirt with program logo
$5 per student for each semester after the first
The maximum cost per family is $20 per semester and includes t-shirts.
No child will be excluded from participation in this program due to expense. Please contact one of the directors if finances are an issue.
What is the dress code?
Modest, loose-fitting pants or shorts
