About Mrs. Truax:
A member of Baptist Bible College’s music faculty since 2006, Mrs. Truax has taught music history,  music theory and aural skills courses, private piano and voice lessons. Mrs. Truax and her husband, Paul live in Jermyn, PA, with their children, Eli and Ava. Her love for music began while focusing on instrumental music, playing in marching band, concert band, jazz band, handbell choir, and taking private lessons for over 10 years. During this time she studied piano with Marylee Morton and voice, at the Riverside Academy of Music, with Norma Codispoti. Once at Baptist Bible College, Mrs. Truax majored in Music Education with an emphasis in voice. She studied piano with Margaret Bos and Dr. Larry Kauffman and voice with Dr. David Harris. In addition to the degrees she earned from Baptist Bible College, she holds a Master of Music in vocal performance from Binghamton University, where she studied voice with Mary Burgess.

"I want my students to deepen their love for music, to learn how to work hard, to develop the skills needed to teach themselves, and to know God intimately." - Jenean Truax
