About Dr.. Maxwell:
Dr. Maxwell has been teaching and directing plays at BBC for 24 years. He holds degrees in communications, theatre, and ministry, has studied theatre in London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland, and received his Ph.D. from New York University’s program in Educational Theatre. During the summer of 2008, he presented a workshop entitled “Teaching the Holocaust through Theatre and Collaboration” at the 6th International Conference on Holocaust Education held at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, Israel. He counts it a privilege to lead worship every Sunday at Heritage Baptist Church in Clarks Summit.

1. What is your favorite book?
While I am an eclectic reader, I particularly enjoy fiction. One of my favorite authors is Chaim Potok.
Recent favorites include: Henri Nouwen's "Life of the Beloved," John Steinbeck's "East of Eden," and Cormac McCarthy's "The Road."

2. What are your hobbies?
Reading, enjoying long walks with my wife, watching good movies and classic television, and spending quality time friends.
