About Professor Holbrook
Mrs. Holbrook began her career in early childhood education as a teacher for the Head Start program in Allegan County, Michigan. She then moved into a supervisory role for the same program, serving as Children’s Services Coordinator. Her position included curriculum development and teacher supervision. Later, she worked as a private consultant working on projects such as the development of Quality Childcare Standards and the opening of an intergenerational preschool program. Mrs. Holbrook has also served on the Board of Directors of the Child Abuse & Neglect Council, facilitated professional development seminars, and worked with county wide multidisciplinary teams supporting quality child care initiatives.
