About Dr. Harris:
Dr. David Harris, Professor of music at Baptist Bible College since 1989, is a native South Carolinian who earned his doctorate in voice performance from the University of Alabama. He and his wife, Connie, have three children - Jordan, Allison, and Dylan - and grandchildren, Calvin and Cordelia.

"Doc", as he is affectionately known among his students, teaches voice, and courses in church music and choral methods. For over 20 years he has directed the Chamber Singers, a 16-member vocal ensemble that has performed hundreds of concerts in churches and schools nationally and internationally. His ministry of music extends far beyond the teaching studio and classroom. For many years he has led worship in daily chapel services, and he has influenced a generation of young people as music director of Teen Leadership Conference, an annual summer event at BBC that has drawn thousands of high school students to the BBC campus.

A co-founder of Grace Baptist Church in Dalton, PA he serves that congregation as worship pastor. David enjoys reading the Puritans (the old dead guys) and is avid cyclist.
