What are your hobbies?

I am not sure that I have any hobbies; however, there are some things that I really enjoy doing. I enjoy counseling and discipling young men (particularly those in pursuit of a life of ministry). I like reading books on these subjects as well.

I also enjoy working in my local church and serving in whatever capacity I am needed in. I have led a college Sunday school class of about 100 students for three-four years; I have been involved in the music ministry of my church; and I have been leading worship music for the services. I also serve as a deacon, and we work on a variety of needs within our church.

What is your favorite book?

My favorite books are Les Miserables ; Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen; and What's So Amazing about Grace by Phillip Yancey.

I love to read books on grace written from a variety of perspectives. The grace of God is what changed my life and is continuing to motivate me to be more like my Savior each day. I just don't think that I will ever get over it, since I need it every day. I also enjoy helping others to experience that grace (especially in the context of the Christian community).
