I enjoy reading and gardening.
What is your favorite book?
Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe is one of my favorites. I believe the nobility of purpose revealed in the main character encourages me.
Family:
I am married to H. Howard Hicks, the Director of Student Services for the Graduate School. I have two sons: Jonathan is married to Stephanie and father to Kaitlyn. He is an Army nurse. Our son Scott has married Jaclyn and is chair of the science department at Grace Baptist Academy in Chattanooga, TN.
