What are your hobbies?
If hobbies mean those things that I do to release stress and provide refreshment, it would be narrowed down to the following:
I love to jog and walk with individuals who I can mentor or brainstorm with. Presently I walk with a BBC professor on Monday; Tuesday and Thursday I walk with an unsaved neighbor; Friday is with a pastor of my local church; and Saturday is a time in solitude.
I love to spend time memorizing approximately five verses a week in preparation for preaching expository messages through a book of the Bible.
What is your favorite book?
The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard. This book deals with a text that I have previously memorized and preached. He deals with the text in such a unique way that it has enlarged not only my understanding but has provided a wealth of insights for the classes I teach.

Further Information:
Bonnie and I served for two years as camp director and youth pastor/wife at High Point Baptist Chapel. In 1974, we moved to Langhorne, PA, to assume the role of lead pastor. We ministered there until June 2000. During those 26-plus years at Langhorne, the church went through multiple phases both in philosophy of ministry and buildings. This appears to have uniquely prepared us for ministry here at BBC. My present roles include teaching many of the pastoral ministry courses, as well as, serving as an intentional interim pastor. These pastorates have included: Whitehall Baptist Church (Philadelphia), Grace Bible Church (Dunmore), Bible Baptist Church (Shiremanstown), and presently Calvary Baptist Church (Brewerton).
